Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his role in the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His passion for acting started in his early college days. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He has been in TV and films, however the small screen characters which earned him fame and a large following. He has the ability to portray both characters from the side of the police and the different. This is what is what makes him so famous. He was the voice of a serial killer in his debut television show but later went on to portray the character of an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he's been awarded numerous nominations for the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. His signature striking blue eyes that are said to make the actor look gorgeous. They have helped to play rough characters in a charismatic manner. People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured the actor.
